BAFTA Awards ครั้งที่ 74 ภาพยนตร์ Nomadland คว้าภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยม
BAFTA Awards เวที BAFTA Awards ครั้งที่ 74 ประกาศผลรางวัลผู้ชนะในปีนี้ออกมาให้ทราบกันเมื่อช่วงค่ำคืนที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งปีนี้รางวัลสูงสุดตกเป็นของภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Nomadland แถมยังควบรางวัลผู้กำกับยอดเยี่ยมของ โคลอี้ จ้าว (Chloe Zhao), รางวัลนักแสดงนำหญิงยอดเยี่ยมของ ฟรานเซส แม็คดอร์มานด์ (Frances McDormand)
และรางวัลกำกับภาพยอดเยี่ยมของ โจชัว เจมส์ ริชาร์ดส์ (Joshua James Richards) กลับบ้านไปครองอีกด้วย ซึ่งความสำเร็จครั้งนี้ทำให้ โคลอี้ จ้าว กลายเป็นผู้หญิงผิวสีคนแรกที่ชนะรางวัลผู้กำกับยอดเยี่ยม และเป็นผู้หญิงคนที่สองที่คว้ารางวัลนี้ในประวัติศาสตร์ของเวที BAFTA Awards ด้วย
ส่วนรางวัลนักแสดงนำชายยอดเยี่ยมในปีนี้ตกเป็นของ แอนโทนี่ ฮ็อปกินส์ (Anthony Hopkins) จากภาพยนตร์เรื่อง The Father ขณะที่ Promising Young Woman คว้ารางวัลสาขาภาพยนตร์อังกฤษยอดเยี่ยมไปครอง
